Short post as a heads up, because I wish I'd known this sooner rather than later, and I'm sure y'all are the same. I noticed over at Kaliope's blog she talked about being able to "fix" what volatile you get when transmuting living elements. Did a quick search and found this Blue post, confirming it.
Here's the breakdown:
- Mount Hyjal - Volatile Fire
- Vash'jir - Volatile Water
- Deepholm - Volatile Earth
- Uldum - Volatile Air
There's also confirmation that transmutation specialization is beneficial for this transmute. Be sure to keep all of this in mind if you're hurting for a specific element. (I, for one, am always on the look out for a way to get some easy Volatile Air!)

Please remember that transmute living elements shares a cool-down with Transmute Truegold! On my server, purchasing volatile air (and the rest of the mats) and making Truegold is far more profitable than making life into air (current profit for me on this cool-down is 500-700 gold) .
ReplyDelete@ Anonymous: Indeed, as is the constant caveat on gold blogs, it is all server dependent. On my server the profit made on selling Truegold (Assuming you buy all the mats and do not proc) is only about 500, which seems in line with yours. But instead I could buy 15 Volatile Life for about 150g and Transmute them to Air, turn them in to Ethers (Ether = 2 Air per Ether) and sell each Ether for 800g. :)
ReplyDeleteHey Faid I have been reading your blog for some time (great content by the way) and I was wondering if I could post a link to here from my own blog?
